Welcome to the SUPPORT area of the TRAC4LA.com website.
Are you prepared for a storm? What if one hit today?
Since Hurricane Andrew hit Southeast Louisiana in 1992, TRAC has provided support services in:
LONG-TERM DISASTER RECOVERY Assisting individuals, families and communities in rebuilding lives, strengthen our planning and preparation for future disasters and empower people organizing to dramatically improve life in our communities.
DISASTER PREPAREDNESS EDUCATION Sustainability of a community is accomplished through empowerment of the people. By being diligent in our education, consistent in our message, persistent advocates and visionaries in our goals we are and will continue to affect personal and community responsibility.
RESIDENTIAL MITIGATION ASSISTANCE ELEVATIONS / RELOCATIONS/MITIGATION MEASURES Focus on the extremely vulnerable, marginal population clusters of Terrebonne & Lafourche Parishes.
YEAR-ROUND INDIVIDUAL SUPPORT SERVICES We have developed programs to extend our goal, of helping individuals/families whose needs may not fit into traditional social service resources, on a year-round basis.
